Street dance is graceful, strong and challenging. It is used to describe dance styles that developed outside of dance studios on the streets as well as hip hop and funk dance styles that began appearing in the United States in the 1970s.
Our classes are creative and blend original hip hop styles fused with modern commercial moves to the latest hip hop beats!
Don’t worry if you’ve never done street dancing before, we welcome all abilities.
The class is run by experienced teachers who specialise in street and hop hop. It is aimed at 7-16 year olds and held every Tuesday from 4.45pm till 5.45pm in a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere.

FEES
The fees for Street Dance are £85 per term. This comprises of approximately12-14 three hour sessions.
Please note that should a student decide to leave Big Act they must give at least 6 weeks notice otherwise fees cannot be refunded.

FAQ:
Can I pay by instalments?
No problem - you can pay a first payment at the start of term and two cheques post-dated respectively 1 month and 2 months after the first day of term.
All cheques are payable to 'Big Act Theatre School'
What to Bring?
All students should be as comfortable as possible so we suggest clothes such as tracksuits bottoms or leggings and plimsolls, trainers or jazz shoes. Although juice and biscuits are provided in the break, students are welcome to bring drinks or snacks along.
